Chapter Introduction

The government management on protection of environment in Tashkent City according to the current legislation is conducted by Khokimiyat on nature protection, which at the same time is the department on control.
The observation over the pollution of the atmospheric air, surface and ground water is conducted by special inspections of Uzglavgidromet.
State autoinspection controls the toxicity and smoke emissions of exhaust gases from movable sources, Gosbiocontrol -  the commitment to the legislations on protection of flora and fauna.
