What is causing the problems
Water-supply
The total volume of water, utilized by Tashkent
city composes approximately 1000 millions m3/ year. Only 10% of this
water is used in the systems of circulating water-supply.
Tashkent is supplied by drinking water from 6
waterworks: Bozsu, Karasu, Kibray, Southern, Sergely, Kadiryinskaya.
Their total capacity is about 2500 thousands m3/ 24
hours.
The water-supply
scope of population equals approximately to 99%.
The specific water
consumption per one citizen achieves 900 Liters/ 24
hours.
