Water supply

Running through the territory of Tashkent region, already on the entry into Tashkent, all rivers are polluted by the industrial, agricultural, cattle-breeding, and municipal  discharges of water.
In the city canals look like natural waterflows and can have artificial river-bed made from concrete. The sanitar-protective zone along the canals is not set everywhere; on the banks the dwelling, many-storeyed and private houses are built, as well as industrial objects. Technology-produced load on water flows is composed by surface waters, outcoming from the territory of the city, the most dirty areas of which are adjoined to big motor highways and enterprises.
There is also a big load on ground waters, as the pollutions of surface penetrate into water horizons.
The collector of the city, in which the water escapes from city enterprises are situated in deep ravines and almost completely covered by ferro-concrete tubes.
