Chapter Introduction On the territory of Tashkent city flow several rivers and canals which get their waters from Chirchik river. The main rivers are Chirchik, Karasu, Bozsu, Burdjar, Salar, Karskamish. The ground waters are on the deeps of 5 metres and more, and pressure ground waters - from 100 to 155 metres.
