Chapter Introduction

The activity of industrial, building and transport enterprises, trading and service companies is accompanied with the formation of solid waste, which has different degree of hazard. Untill the end of 90's the work on Government Regulation by this waste was conducted from time to time. Only in 1997 the State statistical book-keeping was conducted and the volume of industrial waste was determined.
At the beginning of 70's in Tashkent city the factory on processing of solid consumer waste was built. However, because of content of glass fragments and chemicals in compost, there was not found any consumer for it, and the factory was closed.
