Zaynutdin Mausoleum

The mausoleum of Zaynutdin Bobo is situated in Kukcha part of the city, which was, previously situated behind the out-skirts of the city.
The former keeper of Ibanids mausoleum related the legend, according to which "600 years ago under the instructions of his father Shikabaddin sheikh, Zaynutdin sheikh removed from Bagdad to Tashkent. After his death the worshippers built little chortak on his grave. Later, this chortak was rebuilt by Temur, and after this more 3-4 rebuildings were made."
The most ancient element of mausoleum is chillakhona (10-12 centuries). The Chortak on the grave of sheikh was ruined, but later Temur during one of his visits to Tashkent (probably in 1390) became sick and, hoping to recover, built the new building on the grave of Zaynutdin Kui Arifoni.
