several artificial lakes, which are built in park zones. Last
years the city substantially enlarged and developes on
the riversides of Chirchik river.
This promotes penetration  of small  species directly to the city                              Schirotorax intermediums   reservoirs. The most typical representitives of water-fauna of the city are Schirotorax intermediums, Barbus capito, which inhabit relatively fullwater and fleeting reservoirs and Cyprinus carpio, Carassius auratus,
which inhabit mainly deep and stagnant                                         Gobio gobio
areas of canals on the Western borders of the city. All of them serve as the objects of sport fishing. Except this, the usual species are: Gobio gobioCobitis aurata,              Nemachilus  kushakewitschi Nemachilus
stoliczkai  and , thers.                                                                           Cyprinus carpio
