 Amphibians

The Amphibians of Tashkent are represented only by two species.
From them Bufoviridisinhabits almost everywhere. The bigger part of its life spends on the ground, and only for reproduction
it uses water. It active only during nights. It is possible to meet
the spawn of toad, which looks like long  slimy threats, and its grubs in shallow drenage  canals, temporary accumulations of water, pools and ever fountains in the center of the city. 
Rana ridibunda is the inhabitant of stagnant, deep, over-grown                   Bufoviridis   
reservoirs. 

It can be met usually on the borders of the city, on the banks of canals and ponds. The amount of inhabitant is very  small.
