Chapter Introduction

This section is composed on the basis of the statistical data of "GlavGidroMet", State Commitee for Nature Protection and the Ministry Macroeconomics and Statistics of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The main sources of the atmospheric air pollution are power engineering, industrial production and automobile transport. It being known that the transport portion in the pollution of air is much higher than the industrial one. 
On the quality of the atmospheric air in Tashkent influence big enterprises of power engineering, chemistry, metallurgy, which are situated in Tashkent Region and have high sources of emissions.
