Air quality

   What is causing the problems  

The Automobile transport.
The automobile transport is the main source of the atmospheric air pollution in Tashkent city,
where the 1/5 part of all automobiles of the country is concentrated.
In connection with the automobiles quantity growth, the emissions from autotransport during the period from 1996 till 1999 have increased from 103, 6 thousands tons to 213,2 thousands tons, or on 106%. This portion in total emission has increased from 87,3% to 94,4%.
The emission from autotransport is determined by calculation methods on the qantity of utilized fuel; in 1999  they were in 16,8 times higher than the emission from stationary sources.
By the reason of that the  gasoline with ethyl is used as automobile fuel, automobiles are not supplied by neutralizators of exhaust gases, because the gasoline contains lead, which distorts, the neutralizators.
The quantity of sulphur in diesel fuel till year 2000 was equal to 1,2%.
